I'm from Calcutta,though I have spent a lot of my early childhood and teenage years in south bombay. I graduated from St. xavier's college and did my masters in advertising from Mudra Institue of Communication, Ahmedabad.

I have worked in production houses that produce adfilms/reality shows for tv.I have dabbled in short films both fiction and non fiction.At present I'm into freelance content writing(film reviews,youth,lifestyle and entertainment).

My favourite assignment till date has been working for "the amazing race"(AXN)

Besides this I'm a trained dancer(ballroom and latin american)I simply love dancing though I enjoy the free-style in particular and house music is quite a favourite...

I'm a total foodie...I love experimenting with food...sushi ..yum...My favourite food experiment has to be at a restaurant in Nairobi,Kenya called Carnivore. It serves game meat(used to). i'm not much of a meat eater but i really liked croc meat!!!:D

I love to read from sandman series to the preacher to Woody Allen,Kundera,Minette Walters,Amitav Ghosh,Peter Straub, David Baldacci to the classics...

Watching movies is a passion...but not copies of hollywood in hindi...no siree...I like world cinema..particularly iranian films..children of heaven... u get the drift...and films of the great masters like Kieslowski,Bergman,Kurasawa,Wang Kar-Wai,Guy Richie, Pedro Almodovar,Bunuel,Quentin Tarantino to name a few..
